10% off membership and placement packages for all military and first responders
Please know that you will pay your nanny separately from your placement fees. Our fees ensure that you receive a nanny or sitter that matches your family's requests, needs, and qualifications. Sandhills Rent A Nanny does not employ any Nannies. All Nannies are employees of the family and are paid directly from the family. We will refer you to a payroll company who will walk you through all that is required as an employer.
Sitters in the Sandhills typically earn $12-$23 hourly. This rate depends on education, experience, and the position requirements. Offering a higher salary and benefits like mileage reimbursement, sick days, vacation time, paid holidays, and a healthcare stipend will help you attract more candidates.
We are confident in the candidates we send to your family. Replacements are rare however, if this happens we offer a replacement period of 30, 60, or 90 days.
We proudly partner with HomePay to simplify the HR aspects of being a household employer (payroll processing, tax filing and labor law compliance). For Part Time and Full Time positions we recommend you allow 4-6 weeks. Most of our families are matched with their nanny in the first three interviews. The extra time allows us to find your family the perfect placement.
The average Nanny in The Sandhills earns between $12-$23 hourly. This range depends on experience, education, and the job requirements.
Sandhills Rent A Nanny requires you to have your CPR certification. If you do not already have this certification, you may be asked to cover that cost upfront. After you are placed with a family this money will be refunded to you!
We cannot guarantee an exact time, candidates are typically placed with a family between three-six weeks. This depends on how quickly the nanny completes the application, how many families the agency is working with, and how quickly the families communicates.
We encourage and educate our Families on the importance of working with a payroll company.
Nannies must be willing to make a one year commitment for a permanent placement. We do however work with Families requesting Part-Time or Temporary Care who may not require a 1 year commitment.
